The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) hereby advises that Point Blank Body Armor model CB-S3-BIIIA-2 has been permanently removed from the NIJ Ballistic-resistant Body Armor Compliant Products List (CPL) at the request of the manufacturer.
NIJ encourages law enforcement and corrections officers to continue to wear their body armor until it is replaced. Wearing untested armor is better than not wearing any armor.
