Two Prince Georges County (MD) police officers were shot while responding to a reported home invasion. According to the Interim Police Chief, both officers, one who was struck in the chest and the other who was struck in the back, were protected from more serious injuries because they were both wearing their body armor. Both officers were treated at local hospital, but are expected to make a full recovery.
