A Corinth, Mississippi, police officer is in the hospital after getting shot with his own weapon during a scuffle with a possible prowler.
Corinth Police Chief Ralph Dance said Officer Kevin Parker Jr. was investigating the prowler call at a woman's home around 4 Wednesday morning.
Parker saw a man run out in front of his car. When he went to investigate, the man rushed Parker and fought to get his gun.
