A Stafford County (Virginia) Sheriff’s deputy was shot four times while responding to a breaking and entering call. He suffered extensive injuries but survived and the shooter was apprehended and charged with attempted capital murder. The sheriff’s office says the deputy’s ballistic body armor saved his life.
