On Feb 2, 2026, at around 8:40pm, Dallas Police officers responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex on Woodhollow Drive. When officers entered the apartment in question, they heard a woman yell “he has a gun, he has a gun.” As officers located and entered the bathroom where the warning was coming from, shots were fired from the suspect. Police stated that 2 individuals were shot. Both injured victims were transported to a hospital with one of the individual’s requiring surgery. One officer was struck in the ballistic vest and is expected to be ok. No information about the suspect has been provided. The case is still under investigation.
