The objective of this report is to provide a verification assessment of the Targeted Data Extraction System (TDES) – a prototype software developed for the targeted extraction of data from mobile phones for forensic investigations. TDES was developed by Florida State University through a National Institute of Justice R&D grant (2016-MU-CX-K003).
